Kaiser Permanente is adding weekend hours at three of its vision departments in the region, including one Vancouver clinic.
Kaiser’s Vision Essentials department at Cascade Park Medical Office, 12607 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning March 12. Members can schedule appointments by visiting www.kp.org or calling 800-813-2000.
Kaiser added the weekend hours after hearing from members who said they put off eye appointments and shopping for new glasses because it’s difficult to fit in appointments during the week.
Eye exams are recommended every two years for adults.
