Ridgefield – Ridgefield’s summer movies in the park program kicks off Saturday with “The Sandlot,” the 1993 baseball movie that covers everything from the many nicknames of Babe Ruth to how to kiss a lifeguard.
Movies in the park start at 7:30 p.m. at Davis Park, 315 N. Third Ave., and popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
The three other films in this summer’s program are “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” on July 26, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Aug. 9, and “Lilo & Stitch” on Aug. 30.
