Vancouver – Drivers should plan for lane closures and possible delays on Interstate 5 in north Clark County as crews resurface nearly 10 miles of the freeway between the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds and the North Fork Lewis River Bridge.

To minimize traffic impacts, much of the work will be done at night. The speed limit will drop to 60 mph through the work zone.

Up to two lanes in either direction of I-5 will close:

• Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• Friday nights to Saturday mornings from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

• Saturday nights to Sunday mornings from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Construction is expected to conclude this fall, but that timeline is subject to change based on weather conditions.
