Hudson’s Bay — The School of Piano Technology for the Blind named four new members elected to its board of directors last month: John Bannon, Scott Huotari, Scott McCallum and Richard Rathvon. Bannon is a longtime volunteer at the school and the Washington State School for the Blind. Huotari is a Microsoft-certified systems engineer in strategic information systems planning from The American Management Association, and will provide oversight and direction of the school’s I.T. system and structure. McCallum was recently appointed superintendent of the Washington State School for the Blind. Rathvon, great nephew of the school’s founder, Emil Fries, is vice president of ConEdison Solutions LLC and will bring his experience in business development and management and entrepreneurship to the school.
