Vancouver – Touching on a topic gaining national and local attention, the Vancouver Community Library will host a forum on political incivility Wednesday.
The forum, titled “Incivility and Political Polarization in America,” starts at 6 p.m. in the Columbia Room of the library on 901 C Street in Vancouver.
Cornell Clayton, director of the Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service, is the keynote speaker.
Clayton will “explore our current political polarization, challenging assumptions about the relationship between civility and democratic participation,” according to a flyer about the event. The presentation will be followed by audience discussion in small groups.
