Clark County Fire District 3 honored Donna Welker with a Life Saver Award on June 8 for her efforts to save a choking man. Welker successfully administered the Heimlich maneuver and CPR to the man. The skills Welker used to save the man’s life can be learned from the district through an online course with a hands-on evaluation, according to a release from the organization.
