Woodland – Clark County Fire District 2 will host an open house from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the fire station, 314 N.W. 389th St., Woodland.
Guests can meet the commissioners and fire department personnel, and learn more about the proposed merger between the district and Clark County Fire & Rescue. It goes before voters on Aug. 2.
There will be a public meeting of the Regional Fire Authority Planning Committee, made up of officials from Clark County Fire & Rescue, Fire District 2 and Woodland at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Clark County Fire & Rescue Station 21, 911 N. 65th Ave., Ridgefield.
