Vancouver – A candlelight vigil will take place Thursday evening at Clark College to honor those killed in the Orlando nightclub shooting.

The vigil is 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Andersen Fountain on the college’s campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, and the public is welcome to attend. People are encouraged to bring a photo, sign or memory of a loved one who was killed by violence.

Student group Queer Penguins and Allies is organizing the event with support from the Office of Diversity and Equity.

The Korean War memorial is northwest of the county’s Center for Community Health, near the Huey helicopter display at the Vietnam War Memorial Garden.
