For five days starting Monday, temporary traffic and turning restrictions will be in place on Northeast 94th Avenue and Padden Parkway as a project to widen and upgrade a section of 94th Avenue enters its finishing phase.

Battle Ground-based contractor Tapani Inc., will do major excavating, utility and paving Monday through Friday. The work will require these traffic restrictions:

• Southbound drivers on 94th will have to turn right onto Padden Parkway. Left turns or southbound travel through the intersection won’t be allowed.

• Northbound drivers using 94th must turn right or left onto Padden Parkway. Traffic won’t be allowed through the intersection.

• Westbound Padden Parkway drivers won’t be allowed to turn right onto 94th.

• Eastbound Padden Parkway drivers won’t be allowed to turn left onto 94th.

Residents living north of Padden Parkway should plan other routes during the week. Northeast 88th Street and Northeast 72nd Avenue/Andresen Road are possible alternatives. All Padden Parkway traffic will travel the work zone in single eastbound and westbound lanes.

Paving is planned for 8 p.m. June 26 through 6 a.m. June 27. Heavy rains could delay construction. Residents are advised to watch roadside reader boards or check the project’s website for updates at www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/ne-94th-avenue.
