Washougal — Hathaway Elementary School earned a 2015 Washington Achievement Award in the category of high progress. The awards are sponsored by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Board of Education, and honorees are selected using the state’s Accountability Index and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act Flexibility Waiver. The school received a banner for the honor earlier this month.
