Sunday weather looks brighter

But first, two more days of showers

A Rose Festival weekend full of showers and sun breaks awaits, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.

More showers will continue today through Saturday, with a few claps of thunder possible.

The good news is that Sunday should be mostly sunny, with a high of 75. Plan accordingly!

Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday
A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
Saturday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. North northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
