One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Camas on Wednesday evening next to the city’s Safeway.
The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast Third Avenue and Hayes Street, according to emergency dispatch logs.
Camas police Sgt. Scot Boyles said a sedan and sport-utility vehicle collided.
Boyles said around 7:20 p.m. that investigators on scene were rerouting traffic and trying to determine the specifics of the crash; more detailed information was not yet available.
