Clark County — Clark County is home to three of the safest cities in Washington, according to Safewise, a community focused security organization.
The company based its list of the 20 safest cities in the state using the most recent FBI crime data from 2014 to rank the cities, which all have a minimum population of 3,000 people, and then narrowed it down based on the number of reported violent crimes and property crimes.
La Center ranked the highest, at seven, followed by Ridgefield at eight and Camas at 18. Battle Ground just missed the top-20 list, coming in at 26, and Washougal was the only other Clark County city in the top 50, placing at 46.
