Kaiser Permanente launched its new Battle Ground Medical Office on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house ahead of a scheduled Monday opening for the new facility.
The clinic, at 720 W. Main St.,will house four primary care providers, and will offer on-site lab services and a separate room for minor medical procedures.
It will also have a telemedicine room, where patients can participate in video appointments with Kaiser Permanente specialists, saving them a drive to another location.
The office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Beginning Monday, members can choose a new provider at the Battle Ground Medical Office by visiting kp.org/chooseyourdoctor or calling 1-800-813-2000.
In conjunction with the clinic opening, Kaiser Permanente is donating $10,000 to Battle Ground HealthCare, a clinic that provides free primary care services to low-income, uninsured adults.
