Camas — Starting in mid-June, NW Natural will reinforce its natural gas line to Camas in the Grass Valley area, which is intended to improve reliability and better serve the growing population.

Delays and lane closures can be expected, and flaggers will be on hand to send traffic through the work zone safely. Work will be done 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and is expected to wrap up by September.

NW Natural will hold two information sessions about the work: one from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Street Fire Station, 4321 N.W. Parker St., and another from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Camas Farmer’s Market, on Northeast Fourth Avenue between Northeast Everett Street and Northeast Franklin Street.
