Vancouver — Vancouver’s Windermere Stellar is collecting food and toiletries through Saturday for the Fruit Valley Foundation, which supports families with Fruit Valley Elementary School. The most-needed items are:

• Nonperishable foods, such as canned vegetables and meat, grains and peanut butter.

• Paper towels, paper napkins, toilet paper and diapers.

• Toiletries, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and shampoo.

Donations can be dropped off at Windermere’s Mill Plain location, 12500 S.E. Second Circle, or its downtown Vancouver location at 210 E. 13th St. The donations “will ensure that local families will be fed during the summer months when pantry donations become scarce,” the real estate company said in a press release.
