Insurance agency to hold flag exchange

Esther Short — Anyone with an old or tattered American flag can stop by Davidson and Associates Insurance, 610 Esther St., Suite 100, Vancouver, for a flag exchange. The exchange runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through June 10, and June 13-17. Those who don’t already have a flag can still stop by and pick up a new 3-foot by 5-foot flag. Fort Vancouver District Boy Scouts of America will perform proper flag retirement ceremonies for all old flags. Exchanged flags should be removed from poles and dried if wet.
