WEST POINT GRADUATION
Cadet John Russell, son of James and Christina Russell of Vancouver, graduated May 21 from the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., with bachelor’s degrees in computer engineering and information technology. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army’s Infantry branch. Cadet Russell will attend Ranger School in Fort Benning, Ga., and then report to Fort Wainwright, Alaska, for his first assignment. He is a 2012 graduate of Vancouver Christian High School.
