Clark County – In response to the shortage of educational professionals, Educational Service District 112 and local districts are holding a Southwest Washington job fair from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at ESD 112, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave.

The following school districts are participating in the job fair: Battle Ground, Camas, Castle Rock, Kalama, La Center, Longview, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, White Salmon Valley and Woodland. Also participating are Children’s Northwest and ESD 112.

The districts and agencies are looking for teachers, para-educators, substitute teachers, bus drivers, school nurses, school psychologists, occupational therapists and speech and language pathologists.

Representatives from school districts and ESD 112 will answer questions about certification and requirements. On-site fingerprinting services will be offered.

This is the third Take Root Job Fair. Past fairs have seen applicants hired on the spot.
