Clark County — Posting pictures of home-cooked meals and food from farmers markets can earn Clark County residents gift cards to local farmers markets. Clark County Grown’s Local Flavor Challenge is awarding $10 gift certificates to people who post two photos of meals made with Clark County-grown ingredients in a month to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, and $5 gift certificates to people who post two photos of Clark County Grown produce on social media in a month. “Everyone is posting pictures of their meals on social media already,” Warren Neth, executive director of Slow Food Southwest Washington, said in a release from Clark County Grown. “Just take it one step further: Use the hashtags, and you’ve got some bucks to spend on your next farmers market visit.” To enter, people are asked to use the hashtags #localflavorchallenge and #clarkcountygrown when posting to social media, and include the market and farmer the produce was purchased from.
