Vancouver – The nonprofit Hough Foundation is hosting its annual Sip & Stroll benefit from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 20 in the Hough neighborhood. The foundation aims to provide Hough Elementary School students and their families “with basic needs and opportunities for scholastic, physical and social growth,” according to the foundation.
Participants will get a map of places where they can taste wine, beer, cider and spirits, as well as enjoy live music, shopping discounts and food specials from 30 venues. The self-guided tour starts and ends at the Burgerville headquarters, 1602 Main St., Vancouver.
Pre-sale tickets are $30 and can be bought online at www.houghfoundation.org. At the event, tickets can be purchased for $35.
