A Vancouver man was arrested after police say he threw bricks through house and car windows Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the 8300 block of McArthur Boulevard at about 8 p.m. for a reported disturbance where the 911 caller reported a man throwing bricks at residences and vehicles, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Investigators said that for an unknown reason Dadakis Sharry, 18, picked up landscaping bricks in front of the victim’s residence and threw them through a large glass window, causing it to shatter, police said.

Several adults and two small children were inside at the time, but only suffered minor scratches and cuts, police said.

Several bricks were also thrown through car windows that were parked near the victim’s residence, Vancouver police reported.

Police arrived and located Sharry and described him as agitated and belligerent toward officers, the agency said.

Sharry was arrested on suspicion of felony assault, felony malicious mischief and an unrelated warrant. He was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Clark County Jail.

Vancouver police is continuing the investigation into the incident.
