Camas – Camas and Washougal are joining forces and asking residents to come out today to thank their local police officers.
Washougal Mayor Sean Guard and Camas Mayor Scott Higgins are hosting the event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. today at Goot Park, 303 S.E. Zenith St., Camas.
“Members of the public are welcome to attend to say thank you directly or to drop off cards,” Guard wrote in an email.
