Football season is getting close. So the Seattle Seahawks are paying a visit to Vancouver to drum up excitement for their fans.

The 12 Tour will be stopping by Movie Night at Marshall Park on Friday in Vancouver. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Rookie linemen George Fant and Joey Hunt are on the tour along with Sea Gal cheerleaders, mascot Blitz and the Blue Thunder drumline.

Former Seattle receiver Ricardo Lockette, who recently retired due to a neck injury, will also make the trip.

The 12 Tour will also visit Doernbecher Children’s hospital. A fan rally is scheduled at Cartlandia in Portland at noon on Saturday.

The local visit concludes Saturday evening with a season ticket holder’s party at Big Al’s in Vancouver. That event is by invitation only.
