A Clark County Jail inmate is being treated at an area hospital after attempting suicide Thursday morning.
The adult man, whose name was not released, attempted suicide at about 10:20 a.m. Thursday, Clark County Jail Chief Ric Bishop said.
He couldn’t comment on the man’s condition in the hospital, but said there may be more information on the matter later.
The incident is under investigation by the Camas Police Department. To preserve an appearance of fairness, it’s common practice for local law enforcement to refer investigations to other agencies.
