VANCOUVER – Capt. Laura Fenton was appointed to the Salvation Army in Vancouver as an associate corps officer.
She has worked at outposts around the country, most recently in Portland, and she has a degree in ministry.
Fenton began working in late June at the Salvation Army in Vancouver, which served more than 30,000 people last year through programs such as meals, rent and utility assistance and emergency disaster services.
Fenton works alongside Majors Michael and Susan Nute.
