Church group keeps highway clean

Camas — Every three months or so, a group of volunteers from Christian Life Church participate in the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Adopt-a-Highway program, where they pick up trash along a state Highway 14. Usually, between 12 to 14 people go out along Highway 14 between Camas and Southeast 192nd Avenue to keep the road clean, as they did once again last month. The group is made up of volunteers ages 16 and older.
