Woodland – The Clark County Historical Museum will host its First Thursday event next month at the Cedar Creek Grist Mill, 43907 N.E. Grist Mill Road, Woodland.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the mill, and it will cover the mill’s history and restoration. Built in 1876, the mill also served as a social center, blacksmith shop, fish ladder and private residence. It was restored by volunteers in the 1980s and is now a working museum.

Admission is free, and space and parking are limited, so guests are asked to arrive early to ensure a seat for the talk. Email info@cchmuseum.org or call 360-993-5679 for more information.
