R.A. Long rallied in the second half to take control of a 2A GSHL game in Longview.
Daniel Davis scored 11 points and Collin Prangley added 10 for Washougal. But the Panthers couldn’t contain R.A. Long’s Hunter Jones, who had 22 points.
Washougal led 27-24 at halftime, but was outscored 18-7 in the third quarter.
It was a hard-fought game,” Washougal coach Malcolm Estes. “We just came out kind of flat in the third quarter.”
Estes complimented the defense of Brody Oberg and Curtis Crosby. The wings held R.A. Long’s outside shooters to just two 3-pointers.
