Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Jan. 23.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

CAMERON CRANSTON, UNION BOYS BASKETBALL: Cranston averaged 18 points a game over three victories for the Titans.

JESSICA FLANAGAN, WOODLAND GIRLS BASKETBALL: Flanagan averaged 16 points a game over three games and scored her 1,000th career point.

SARAH ELLIS, COLUMBIA RIVER GYMNASTICS: Ellis won the vault, bars, beam and the all-around with a score of 36.1 at a meet at Northpointe.

JEFFREY MAYOLO, LA CENTER WRESTLING: Mayolo won the 138-pound division at the Rubber Chicken Invitational.

MADI BASH, PRAIRIE GIRLS BOWLING: Bash averaged 194 over four games with three 200 games for the Falcons.
