Girls basketball: Skyview 59, Evergreen 29

Kirsten Johnson scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers to help the Storm pull away after a close first half at Evergreen.

The game was 18-16 at one point in the second quarter when Skyview stretched its lead. Johnson made four 3s in the third quarter as Skyview outscored Evergreen 20-6.

“Got to give her credit, she hit some shots,” Evergreen coach Jay Foreman said of Johnson.

Maddie Lord added 13 points for Skyview.

Ahna Burney led Evergreen in scoring with 11 points.
