Boys basketball: Prairie 62, Tumwater 44

Sam Hall scored 11 first-quarter points to help the host Falcons take early command of the non-league game. Hall hit three early 3-pointers and Prairie sprinted to a 23-7 lead in the first quarter.

Hall finished with 15 points and Greg Bernash had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Falcons (12-4).

Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said his team played inspired basketball in honor of longtime Falcons supporter Chuck Thurman who died on Friday.
