PLEASANT HIGHLANDS/SUNNYSIDE: Clark County Department of Public Works proposes changes on Northeast 119th Street between Northeast 50th Avenue and Northeast 72nd Avenue. The goal of the project is to widen 0.64 mile to the standards of a two-lane minor arterial with two 12-foot-wide travel lanes, a 12-foot-wide center left-turn lane, 6-foot-wide sidewalks, and 5-foot-wide bike lanes. Also, NW Natural plans upgrade the natural gas system in the area by installing 3,800 lineal feet of 8-inch-diameter steel pipeline on the south side of the road. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: Jan. 29. Staff contact: Lisa Hemesath, 360-397-2121, ext. 4865
