Vikings’ Barnum to speak at National Football Foundation awards tonight

Portland State football coach Bruce Barnum, a Clark County resident, is scheduled to speak on Wednesday at the annual awards event for the Clark County Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

The event, which will recognize 29 senior football players from Southwest Washington, begins at 7 p.m. at Hudson’s Bay High School. Tickets for the event cost $15 and can be purchased at the door. Three linemen and three backs among the 29 nominees will receive scholarships valued at $3,500, $2,500 and $1,500.
