Brittany McGuire scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Hockinson to a 2A Greater St. Helens League win.

The key to Tuesday’s win was a dominant 26-10 first quarter that put R.A. Long behind the eight ball early.

McGuire scored 11 of her 17 points in the first quarter and much of Hockinson’s success was fueled by their pressure defense.

The win helps the Hawks improve to 5-2 in league play.

Mya Kirzy led R.A. Long with 16 points.
