Boys basketball: Firm Foundation 60, Washington School for the Deaf 51

Daniel Sarkela scored 19 points and held the opponent’s best player in check as Firm Foundation earned a 1B Columbia Valley League win.

Washington School for the Deaf’s leading scorer Tredynn Selvog was held to two points in the first half. He finished with 18, most of which came in a third quarter where the Terriers nearly erased a 24-14 halftime deficit.
