Girls basketball: The Dalles 69, Union 65, OT

Abby Forsyth hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime, when The Dalles sealed the victory from the free throw line.

The Dalles hit 5 of 10 free throws in the extra period.

“The difference in the game is that they went to the line 33 times to our 18,” Union coach Kelly Blankenship said.

Mailia Aguigui paced Union with 17 points. Forsyth addded five assists, and Michelle Chin had two points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
