Girls basketball: Hockinson 37, Woodland 35

Elle Tilkin’s put-back lay-in with 6 seconds to play gave the Hawks the 2A GSHL victory over visiting Woodland, creating a tie for third place between the two teams.

Tilkin, who had eight points and nine rebounds, had key rebounds in the closing minutes of the game.

It was her rebound with 18 seconds to play that set up the final shot.

Payton Wangler led the Hawks in scoring with 11 points.

Woodland was led in scoring by Dana Glovick’s 12 points.
