Boys basketball: Ridgefield 51, Washougal 44

Three players scored in double figures and the Spudders made a third-quarter burst stand up for the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League win.

A Tim Radosevich steal sparked a spurt that pushed Ridgefield’s lead to double digits and the Panthers were never closer than eight points. The Spudders led 35-24 entering the fourth quarter.

Louden Wardius scored 14 points, Auston DeHaan 13 and Travis Gottsch 12 for Ridgefield (3-3, 6-7). Spudders coach Nick Veys said DeHaan and Drew Williams had a big rebounding night.

Collin Prangley scored 16 points for Washougal (3-3, 7-7).
