Greg Bernash scored 24 points and Palmer Goeke 16 to lead the visiting Falcons to the Class 3A Greater St. Helens League win.

Prairie (10-4, 1-1) dominated the middle two quarters, outscoring Kelso 43-14.

Falcons coach Kyle Brooks said his team wanted to hold Kelso to single digits in at least two quarters, and that limiting the Hilanders to nine points in the second quarter and five points in the third allowed his team to take command.

Bernash made 12 of 14 shots from the floor in the game. He scored 12 of his points in the Falcons 23-point second quarter. Goecke had four 3-pointers on the night, two in the second quarter and two more in the third.

Michael Stockbridge had four assists, and Stockbridge and Seth Hall led Prairie with four assists apiece.
