Nick Morse scored 11 of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter to rally the Timberwolves to a non-league win.
The win snapped a nine-game losing streak for Heritage.
“It feels good to a get a win,” Heritage coach Drew Preuninger said. “We did a good job of attacking the rim and making free throws. That was our best free throw percentage of the year.”
Morse made 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter as Heritage made 14 of 17 overall. The Timberwolves also outrebounded the Eagles 33-23.
“That’s the first time all year we’ve won the rebounding battle,” Preuninger said. “We had several guys with four or five rebounds. Just a great collective effort on the boards.”
