Washington sno-park permits required

Mount St. Helens — Three feet of snow at Cougar Sno-Park and 4 to 5 feet at Marble Mountain Sno-Park. Road No. 83 is plowed, but slick in places. The automated site at June Lake, elevation 3,440 feet, has 63 inches of snow, down six inches in the past week.

Upper Wind River — Three feet of snow at Oldman Pass, Koshko and McClellan sno-parks. Four feet at Lone Butte Sno-Park.

Mount Adams — Two to three feet of snow at Pineside Sno-Park. Three to four feet at SnowKing Sno-Park. Grooming of the trails at Pineside and SnowKing is scheduled for Saturday. Atkisson Sno-Park has about 3 feet of snow, with slightly more at Flattop Sno-Park. The automated reporting site at Surprise Lakes, elevation 4,290 feet, has 79 inches, an increase of five inches in the past week.
