Sawyer Bierscheid scored 11 of his 20 points in a big third quarter for the Wildcats as they avenged in earlier Trico League loss to Castle Rock.

La Center lead 29-23 at the half and then outscored the visiting Rockets 21-6 to pull away.

“Since was lost last time by two, being up 20 in the fourth quarter felt good,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said.

La Center benefitted from solid defense, holding Castle Rock’s Brock Johnson to 20 points. He was averaging 26.6 a game.
