Girls basketball: Prairie 68, Black Hills 42

A 20-5 third quarter put the host Falcons (9-3) in control of the non-league game.

Natalie Whitesel had a strong all-around game. She scored 12 points, grabbed 11 rebounds made three steals and dished out five assists.

Jozie Tangeman finished with a game-high 18 points. Ten of Prairie’s 20 field goals were 3-pointers.

Cherita Daugherty had four steals and four assists as the Falcons forced Black Hills into 25 turnovers while only committing 12 turnovers.
