About 200 of the more than 350 people signed up to speak at Tuesday’s Vancouver Energy oil terminal hearing were able to voice their comments before the meeting ended, according to a spokesperson for the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council.

The council on Tuesday took testimony at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds for more than eight hours starting at 1 p.m. and ending at 11 p.m., with a break for dinner.

Those unable to speak directly to the council were encouraged to leave written remarks or speak to a recorder.

Another hearing on the proposed rail-to-marine oil terminal at the Port of Vancouver starts at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Event Center, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield.
