Investigators have increased the cash reward for information leading to an arrest in one of Clark County’s unsolved homicides.

The Vancouver Police Department has partnered with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, which is offering rewards of up to $2,500 for information that helps detectives in the homicide of Donald Brown, who was found deceased in his Orchards-area home on Feb. 4, 2007.

Brown’s live-in-girlfriend came home to find Brown’s body in their house on Northeast 104th Court. He had been fatally stabbed in his head and neck and detectives say there were no signs of forced entry.

To help solve the case, detectives say that any information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or Youtube should be shared since they may lead to the identifying the suspect or suspects.

Tips, which can be sent anonymously, can be sent via text message to 274637, with the message beginning, “823HELP.” They can also be left online at http://crimestoppersoforegon.com/submit_online_tip.php or by calling 503-823-HELP (4357).
