Girls basketball: La Center 67, Columbia-White Salmon 23

Taylor Mills and Molly Edwards led the charge in a big first half for the host Wildcats.

Mills scored 12 of her game-high 21 points in the first quarter. Edwards scored 13 of her 15 in the second quarter. La Center led 47-12 by halftime.

The Wildcats (9-1, 4-0 Trico) mde 20 steals in the game, with Edwards and Bethany Whitten each coming up with four of them. Whitten had a team-high seven assists.

Mills had 15 rebounds, blocked three shots and made three steals.
