Girls basketball: King’s Way Christian 63, Castle Rock 49

MacKenzie Ellertson scored 19 points as King’s Way Christian overcame a seven-point halftime deficit on the road.

McKenzie Schaller added 15 points and nine rebounds as the Knights improved to 1-6 overall and 1-4 in the 1A Trico League.

King’s Way shot 55 percent in the second half, which began with Castle Rock leading 27-20. Nakayla Ehrhorn led the Rockets with 15 points but was held to just two points after halftime.
