A robber who targeted an east Vancouver pharmacy store eluded capture Saturday night, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The robbery occurred about 8:45 p.m. at the store on the 2800 block of Northeast 162nd Avenue, a police bulletin said.
The robber, described only as a white man wearing a mask, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the bulletin. The bulletin did not indicate whether the robber had been armed.
Vancouver police searched the area with the assistance of a K-9 unit but were not able to locate a suspect, the bulletin said. It said no one was injured.
