Saturday turned out to be not bad of a day after a cold front moved through fast Friday evening. It was decent here at the coast too. The break in the action was short-lived as another weather system moves through today.
Gusty winds on the ocean beaches and some moderate snow in the Cascades at or above the passes are on tap today. Rainfall could be between 1/2 and 1 inch. Monday may be like yesterday, between weather systems. I’m afraid March will come in like a lion; clouds, rain and breezes are in the forecast.
The mild conditions will continue and snow levels rise this week with a series of storms. This translates for us as rain then showers then rain and then showers. I think the first half of March will be wet.
I say, enough already! With the flowering trees getting ablaze in pink and white and the rays of sunshine and those recent 60-degree days, I am so ready for spring!
